Safe Drug Procurement and Inventory Management
We ensure a continuous and reliable supply of medications through efficient procurement and inventory management practices. Our processes prioritise medication safety, minimise wastage, and prevent shortages to support uninterrupted patient care.
Medication Safety & Quality Assurance
We uphold the highest standards of medication safety and quality through robust policies, standardised procedures, and continuous monitoring. Regular audits and reviews drive ongoing improvement and risk reduction. All medications are carefully evaluated to meet regulatory standards and are stored and transported under controlled conditions to ensure their safety, quality, and therapeutic effectiveness.
Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) programme
Our Antimicrobial Stewardship programme is led by a multidisciplinary team comprising clinicians, pharmacists, infection control nurses, medical laboratory technologists, and nursing staff. The programme promotes the appropriate use of antimicrobials to improve patient outcomes, reduce antimicrobial resistance, and support evidence-based, cost-effective treatment.
Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) Monitoring & Reporting
We actively monitor, assess, and report adverse drug reactions (ADRs) to enhance medication safety and protect patient wellbeing. Our team collaborates closely with healthcare professionals to manage and prevent recurrence of ADRs.
We also issue allergy cards to patients with known drug allergies, ensuring critical information is readily accessible and reducing the risk of future adverse events.
