Optical coherence tomography (OCT)
Provides cross sectional images of the retina and optic nerves. Use to detect glaucoma, macular abnormality and other eye condition
Fundus photography
Provides high resolution photographs the back part of the eye without the need for pupil dilation. Use to detect retina abnormality.
Humphreys Visual field test
Assess sensitivity of the visual field. Use to detect any area of visual field loss
Corneal tomography (Pentacam)
Maps the surface curvature of the cornea. Helps to diagnoses keratoconus and important in contact lens fitting
Rebound Tonometry
Measure intraocular pressure for glaucoma screening
Biometry
Measure length and curvature of the eyeball to calculate the correct intraocular lens (IOL) power before cataract surgery, so that it ensures the correct lens is used to provide the most appropriate vision outcomes
